Working for Peace In Our Time

It's nearly Christmas of 2001.  America is celebrating the birth of Jesus, the King of Peace, by engaging in the wholesome past time of slaughtering thousands of innocent Afghan families as well as possibly tens of thousands of Taliban fighters, a group we financially supported until the moron needed an enemy to bomb to make America feel all warm and fuzzy about itself and to force the nation to "negotiate" Union Oil's demand to build a pipeline across the nation..

There is little to be proud of in America right now.  Therefore, we all have two choices; we can either wrap ourselves in some colored cloth and lower ourselves to the despicable and sick level of the current regime or we can shake off the horrors and sadness and use our combined power to cleanse America and the world of the real evil that Bush and his minions, like all other filthy creatures that infect this world, represent.

Below are just a few of the groups that are striving to create that world of peace and brotherhood.  I've used their own words to describe their missions wherever possible.

You will never hear of these groups in the corporate media because there is no monetary gain in their acts, hence, no profits in recognizing them.  You must seek them out yourselves.  Here are just a few places to begin.  The following sites range from political organizations to New Age to religious to the very personal.  There is no "correct" path to peace.  Rather, all paths, when honestly and respectfully pursued, lead to that same goal.
